Ramona Singer walked away from The Real Housewives of New York after being on every season of the show since the very beginning but she says she has no regrets about stepping away.

“I’m 60 something now, I worked hard my whole life. It’s time for me just to enjoy myself,” she told the Daily Mail. “And doing the show is not easy. I mean, people think it’s easy. Very stressful, very stressful.”

She says she is happier now that she’s able to control her own narrative. There were reports of racism floating around during the last season of the show. Something she has denied.

“I don’t miss it at all. It was a great experience and I wouldn’t trade it for anything,” she added.

She says she was playing into all the drama on the show but that’s not how she is in real life.

“They didn’t tell me what to do, I just knew how to create [drama],” she told the outlet. “Was that the real me? Not really. Was it me on steroids? Absolutely.”
