Atlanta rapper Ralo may be a free man, but he hasn’t forgotten about his friends who are still behind bars … one friend in particular… YFN Lucci.
“I woke up with Lucci on my heart this morning. I miss you bro. Im so happy this we ain’t ever let this rap sht divide us. You told me when I was in that this sh-t was different outside in the free world and I ain’t believe you I think I was just still stuck in 2018 but now I actually get to see it,” part of the message reads.
Ralo shared a picture of himself standing behind Lucci in a laundromat but holding stacks of cash.
Lucci was accused of being connected to the murder of a man named James Adams.
In January, Lucci pleaded guilty to one count of violating the Street Gang and Terrorism Prevention Act and was sentenced to 20 years.
The first ten years will be time served, as he has been locked up since January 2021. Lucci is eligible for parole in three and a half months, and if the parole is granted, he would be eligible to serve the rest of his sentence on probation.
In March 2022, Ralo pleaded guilty to six counts of conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute at least a kilo of marijuana, felony possession of a firearm, and money laundering and was sentenced to eight years in prison. He served nearly six years in prison.
