Quando Rondo is reportedly no longer behind bars.

The Savannah rapper, born Tyquian Bowman, has been moved from Edgefield Federal Correctional Institution in South Carolina to a halfway house in Atlanta. The transfer comes after Bowman served 15 months following his 2024 guilty plea in a federal drug case.

Quando Rondo was sentenced to 33 months after pleading guilty to one count of conspiracy to possess and distribute marijuana and was ordered to pay a $40,000 fine. Records list his release date as Nov. 11.

Rondo was originally arrested in December 2023 and initially faced a heavier federal charge involving conspiracy to possess and distribute methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl, and marijuana. If convicted on that charge, he could have faced up to 20 years in prison, but the charge was dropped after he reached a plea agreement.

During his sentencing hearing, the rapper addressed his family, friends, and his hometown.

“I really want to give an apology to the city of Savannah,” he said. “And I want to give an apology to my family and friends, loved ones, and most of all my daughters for taking all my family and all my loved ones through this stressful point.”

Quano Rondo’s name also remains part of an ongoing California case involving Lil Durk. Banks has been accused of sending gunmen after Rondo in 2022, when his’s cousin Saviay’a “Luh Pab” Robinson was killed. Banks has pleaded not guilty.

The rapper first rose to national attention in the late 2010s. His breakout records included “I Remember,” featuring Lil Baby, “ABG” and “Imperfect Flower.” He also appeared on YoungBoy Never Broke Again’s “I Am Who They Say I Am.” His most recent album, Here for a Reason, arrived in November 2024, shortly before he began serving his sentence.
