Rapper Quando Rondo was arrested for driving under the influence and reckless driving yesterday.
The arrest stems from a wreck he was in last summer in Chatham County on July 19. He has been arrested on charges of driving under the influence of drugs, and reckless driving.
Rondo was reportedly speeding when his car hit another vehicle. Professionals on the scene noted that he had been showing signs of an overdose and Narcan was administered to him by medical professionals.
He was released from jail Tuesday night on a $4,600 bond.
In December, Quando Rondo was granted bond for a federal drug charge and was granted home arrest.
Quando was indicted for violating the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act, two counts of conspiracy to violate the Georgia Controlled Substance Act and illegally using a communication facility.
Feds allege that Quando is a member of the Rollin’ 60′s gang and say that he asked members to provide him with weapons before going to buy some weed. He is also accused of purchasing hydrocodone pills in Savannah in a separate incident.
