Prosecutors say that Gunna may be connected to two killings.
Don Geary, a prosecutor for the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office, alleges Gunna is a member of another criminal street gang and is being investigated for his alleged involvement in two homicide cases, reports WSB-TV report.
“He is a member of the Shady Park Crips out of South Fulton,” Geary said in court. “He is under an investigation at this point in time by more than one law enforcement agency concerning at least two homicides committed by that gang during this time.”
The rapper has been denied bond twice and must remain in jail until his trial begins in 2023.
Also in court, prosecutors allege a nurse tried to sneak cocaine and marijuana into the jail for the rapper but dropped the drugs and fled before they had a chance to catch her.
Gunna’s attorney denies the allegations and the rapper believes he is being targeted by law enforcement.
