‘Property Virgins’ Moves to Lifetime … And They’re Searching For A New Host!!

Lifetime has acquired HGTV lifestyle shows, Property Virgins and Everything But the House, Media Take Out has learned. And they’re prepared to re-launch the show, with a new host, we’re hearing.

The two shows will air on Lifetime as part of its “Home.Made.Nation” programming lineup, Lifetime said in a recent press release.

As part of the acquisition, Lifetime gets all previous seasons of first-time homebuyers program Property Virgins, which ran for 18 seasons. The series was initially hosted by Toronto-based real estate expert Sandra Rinomato, and later by Atlanta media personality and real estate broker Egypt Sherrod until its finale in 2016.

The series is produced by Cineflix Productions with J.C. Mills and Tanya Blake executive producing.

Cineflix will develop new episodes and has launched a search for a new host, with Egypt Sherrod being high on the list of candidates.

Property Virgins begins airing on Lifetime June 13 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. A full series reboot is expected in early 2024.

Meanwhile, Everything But the House will debut on Lifetime in July.

Hosted by Lara Spencer, the series features families who need to clear the clutter out of their homes, with appraisers helping them identify forgotten items that can be auctioned off for cash.

The show is produced by High Noon Entertainment with Glenna Stacer Sayles, Megan Bidner, Scott Feeley and Lara Spencer serving as executive producers.

Everything But the House premieres on Lifetime July 11 at 10pm ET/PT.
