Producer Claims Kanye West Used HUNDREDS of AI Vocals and Never Paid Him!

Kanye West is facing a lawsuit from an anonymous producer who claims he was never paid or credited for creating AI-assisted vocals used on Vultures 2 and Bully.

The producer alleges he was hired on an “emergency basis” only two days before West and Ty Dolla $ign released Vultures 2 in 2024. He claims his contributions appeared on five songs and included “at least 13 custom AI voice models,” along with hundreds of generated vocals and material made from his own voice.

According to the complaint, the producer later began working on AI vocal programming for Ye’s solo album Bully in October 2024. He claims West and YZY failed to pay him or list him as a producer on streaming platforms.

The unnamed musician is seeking at least $110,000 and has accused West and his company of breach of contract, unjust enrichment and violations of California labor and business laws.

The allegations arrive after Ye denied using the technology on Bully, which was released in March.

“No AI,” he previously said of the album.
