Prince Andrew has reportedly paid a settlement to Virginia Giuffre, the woman who accused him of sexual abuse when she was just 17.
“The payment was received, the settlement we announced last month has been completed. We are obviously very pleased with the outcome,” Giuffre attorney David Boies told CNN.
‘SURVIVING EPSTEIN’ TRAILER
Prince Andrew was accused of having sexual relations with Giuffre in London after she was allegedly trafficked to him by Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.
“Prince Andrew intends to make a substantial donation to Ms. Giuffre’s charity in support of victims’ rights. Prince Andrew has never intended to malign Ms. Giuffre’s character, and he accepts that she has suffered both as an established victim of abuse and as a result of unfair public attacks,” a letter sent to the judge reads.
The lawsuit must now be dismissed with prejudice and it cannot be refiled. Prince Andrew still denies the allegations made against him by Giuffre.
