Pras Denies New “Bar Mitzfa” Track Is A Lauryn Hill Diss

Pras is working hard to shoot down reports that his new single “Bar Mitzfa” is a diss track to singer Lauryn Hill.

Pras previously vented about Lauryn Hill after she canceled their recent Fugees tour.

“Don’t blame me, blame her, she made the mess/ Not another f-cking penny, is what I told ‘Clef/ Trotting the globe with the bros, playing dominoes,” he raps on the track.

Wyclef remained silent then, but Pras also took shots via TMZ. “I saved her reputation for 20 years by not telling my side of the story,” he said, adding, “But oops… cat’s out the bag.”

Speaking to Vulture, he appeared to walk back on his bars.

“I love Lauryn,” he told the outlet. “She’s like a little sister, we could not beef at all.”

He continued, “Everyone’s frustration has been building up. This is not something that just happened overnight. My frustration was for the fans. They are paying their hard-earned money to see you.”

The Fugees were formed in 1992 by Wyclef Jean, Lauryn Hill, and Pras and officially disbanded in 1997 after their final concert. The breakup was reportedly due to Wyclef Jean’s romantic relationship with Hill.
