Poor actor Michael Rainey Jr. is speaking out after he was inappropriately touched by a woman on a livestream, Media Take Out has learned.
On June 9, the Power Book II: Ghost star, 23, appeared on TyTy James’ Twitch livestream and was grabbed inappropriately by James’ sister. The incident was caught on camera during the stream and later circulated on X (formerly Twitter).
In a statement to Media Take Out, a rep for Rainey Jr. said he is “deeply saddened and shocked by the events that occurred during the TyTy James live stream this past weekend. He is still processing what happened and doesn’t entirely know how to feel about it.”
Michael later posted this message to his fans and followers on Instagram.
Michael is an American actor best known for the role of Tariq St. Patrick on Power and Power Book II: Ghost. He also starred as Michael Burset in Orange Is the New Black and Jalen in Barbershop: The Next Cut.
