Porsha Williams has denied allegations made by NeNe Leakes that she refused to work with her on the Netflix show, The Upshaws, and almost cost her a check.
“I am shocked to hear that Porsha would go to a production company and say that she doesn’t want to work with me because we’ve had a lot of issues in the past,” NeNe said at the time. “What lots of issues did we have in the past?”
Speaking to The Breakfast Club cohosts, Porsha revealed that she was extremely fragile at the time because of her divorce drama with Simon Guobadia and that she expected NeNe, who has also been through a divorce, to have more compassion.
“I just wasn’t capable of doing it that day, mentally or emotionally,” she said. “I could not gather myself and then after that, in true NeNe fashion, she just turned it into something about herself, and it genuinely wasn’t about her.”
Porsha says that in her divorce, some of her friends sided with Simon, and that NeNe was one of them.
