Rapper Playboi Carti was Georgia for allegedly choking his pregnant girlfriend.
According to reports, the argument was about her taking a paternity test. Cart allegedly grabbed her by the throat during the argument, per TMZ, held her until she struggled to breathe and pushed her.
When cops arrived at the scene, they noticed injuries to her neck, chest, and back, TMZ reports.
He was arrested for felony aggravated assault. The alleged victim told the cops that she thought she was going to die. Cart and the woman have been dating for over two years. Last July, she moved into his Georgia mansion.
“Mr. Carter was falsely accused,” attorney Brian Steel, told the outlet. “Pursuant to my communications with the Fulton County District Attorney‘s office, this case will be dismissed without any prosecution or litigation.”
Carti shares a son named Onyx with Iggy Azalea. She has called him a deadbeat on social media in the past.
