PlaqueBoyMax announced that he has deleted his X community forum because the reaction to his new song “Thong Song” made him feel unsupported.
The streamer and rapper became emotional during a Twitch livestream on Friday.
“I was out shopping,” he told his followers. “As y’all know, ‘Thong Song’ just dropped and, you feel me, I’m not going to lie, that song is one of my favorite songs I’ve ever made. It’s fun as f–k. It makes me feel good. I put a lot of time into it.”
Max said he had deleted X from his phone but downloaded it again so he could promote the song.
“I’m excited, I’m feeling good,” he explained. “I hit the community, and it’s like … damn, bro. Y’all n—as not f–king with me, no cap. […] The community became a thing where n—as is so toxic and small-minded, they won’t let me be myself,” he said. “Y’all can call me corny, I don’t give a f–k.”
PlaqueBoyMax has built a large audience across platforms, with about 1.76 million YouTube subscribers and roughly 1.79 million subscribers on his main channel, PlaqueBoyMaxLive. On Twitch, he has about 12,944 active subscribers, including 10,597 paid and 1,364 gifted.
