Philadelphia police are investigating a shooting that left popular rapper Ybcdul dead in the city.
Police say the 25-year-old male victim was shot multiple times in the chest and hand. He was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The victim was later identified as the popular and controversial Philadelphia rapper.
Ybcdul was known for his music, and his social media antics. Just this week, the rapper went on a series of social media videos where he bragged about gunning down his opps – and telling the interviewer that he’s “never gotten shot” in the city. Watch:
But Ybcdul also had a dark side to him. He went viral last year for pulling up the grave site of one of his fallen opps. The rapper showed up with a shovel and dug up the fallen rival’s gravesite.

YBC Due went on a series of interviews following his rise in popularity, and frequently bragged about spinning teh block on his opps.
He basically dared his opps to come get him.
YBC Due was born July 5th 1999 and started his music career in the city of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
He released his first single, ‘Criminal‘, on April 29, 2022.
While a talented rapper, YBC Duo mostly gained notoriety in the Philly rap scene due to his involvement in a feud and gang war between his collective, the YBC and several other rap/gang collectives.
YBC Dul went viral in February after he shot a video digging up the grave of an opposing rival (opps) who had been shot and killed, presumably by his collective.
