Phaedra Parks Shuts Down Pinky Cole During ‘RHOA’ G*n Drama

Bravo reportedly toned down Pinky Cole’s gun remark on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, changing it to the phrase “significant device” when the issue resurfaced during the Season 17 reunion.

During part two of the reunion, Pinky confronted Phaedra Parks for allegedly alerting network “higher-ups” after Pinky previously discussed having something for protection.

TMZ reports Pinky was referring to a gun.

A source with direct knowledge told the outlet that Pinky never brought a firearm onto the RHOA set and never threatened Phaedra or anyone else. The original conversation reportedly took place off-camera earlier in the season.

When Pinky revisited the dispute at the reunion, Phaedra challenged her version of events. Andy Cohen also denied that things happened the way Pinky claimed.

Phaedra fired back.

“This ain’t The Wire,” Phaedra told Pinky, referencing the HBO series set in Baltimore, where Pinky is from.

Bravo reportedly chose not to explicitly call the “device” a gun in the final edit because the original conversation was not filmed.

The subject comes after Brit Eady mentioned having a gun during a confrontation involving Kenya Moore last season. Although no firearm was shown, some viewers interpreted Brit’s comment as threatening.

As for Pinky, the source maintained that Pinky’s remarks were about personal protection and were never intended as a threat.
