Phaedra Parks is reportedly negotiating her return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ following Kenya Moore’s rumored exit from the show.
Phaedra starred in seasons 3 through 9 but was fired from the show after spreading career-damaging rumors about Kandi Burruss. Phaedra made up a story about Kandi and Todd Tucker’s alleged plans to date s-xually assault Porsha Williams in their dungeon.
Love B. Scott is reporting that her contract with Bravo’s “Married to Medicine” is the “biggest hangup” as the eleventh season is already in production and Phaedra is one of the main pulls for the show.
Kandi threatened to walk away from the show if Phaedra returned, but earlier this year, she revealed she will not be returning for the show’s next season.
“The question that we look at now with Phaedra is, when the reunion ended, none of the other women wanted to have anything to do with her. So that’s what you have to look at,” Andy Cohen said of Phaedra’s exit at the time. “How do you shoot a show about a group of friends when no one is speaking to one of the friends?”
Phaedra’s close friend, Porsha Williams, is also returning for season 16.
