Pete Davidson Checks Into Rehab For PTSD!!

Lyndon Abioye |

Pete Davidson has checked into a rehab facility to receive in-patient therapy for his post-traumatic stress disorder and his Borderline Personality Disorder diagnosis.

“Pete will often check himself into rehab to work on these issues,” another source close to Davidson told PEOPLE. “His friends and family have been supportive during this time.”

Davidson has been open in the past about his Borderline Personality Disorder. He said the diagnosis changed his life.

“I got diagnosed with BPD a few years ago, and I was always just so confused all the time, and just thought something was wrong, and didn’t know how to deal with it,” Davidson said in a conversation with actress Glenn Close back in 2021.

In 2020, speaking to Charlamagne Tha God, he said: “I’m always depressed, all the time. I have to constantly bring myself out of it. I wake depressed, but now I know my steps. I have to go outside and be in the sun for a little bit or go for a walk. It’s all just programming yourself to trick your brain.”
