Papoose is stirring up conversation after delivering a heated freestyle aimed at 50 Cent after weeks of back-and-forth online.
The Brooklyn rapper recently released a short clip of himself rapping over the instrumental to 50 Cent’s 2003 hit “Many Men,” using the moment to take several shots at the hip hop mogul. In the freestyle, Papoose criticized 50’s music catalog and suggested the rapper’s most successful work remains tied to his early career.
At one point in the verse, Papoose claimed that everything released after Get Rich or Die Tryin’ failed to match the impact of the classic album.
He also referenced personal controversies involving 50 Cent, including his past relationship with model Daphne Joy.

Papoose jumped over 50 Cent’s “Many Men” beat to release a freestyle dissing him titled “F*ck Curtis Jackson”.
50 Cent responded via his instagram profile stating he won’t deal with “retarded ass… pic.twitter.com/Ya3iNu7qne
The freestyle quickly spread online.
The tension started earlier this year after 50 Cent posted a social media clip mocking Papoose and boxing champion Claressa Shields, who is in a relationship with the rapper. Papoose fired back at the time, accusing 50 of deflecting attention from other disputes.
After the freestyle circulated, 50 Cent addressed it on Instagram but made it clear he was not taking the diss seriously.
“I’m sorry, no response to rappers who can’t write a hit to save their lives,” he wrote.
