OTF Jam told jurors Thursday that testifying against Lil Durk could get him killed, calling cooperation in his world a “death sentence” as he returned to the stand in the rapper’s murder-for-hire trial.
“As a Black Disciple, snitching is breaking all laws; it’s a death sentence,” Jam, whose real name is Kacey Hester, testified on August 27.
Asked by prosecutors whether he could still be hurt or killed for cooperating, Jam answered, “Of course.”
His testimony also turned personal when he spoke about Durk.

“I still got a lot of love for him. Blood was there for me,” Jam said. “I feel bad. I know he probably hate me. I got love for him, I just don’t have respect for him.”
Jam has accused Durk of arranging the August 2022 attempted killing of Quando Rondo, a shooting that instead killed Rondo’s cousin, Saviay’a Robinson. Durk is facing a murder-for-hire charge.
Jam told the court he regretted “participating in an innocent person being killed.”
His cooperation with authorities began after a 2023 arrest involving a gun. During a collect call, he wrote a message to an officer that said, “I know about murder. I don’t wanna talk on camera, I know about a lot.”
Ye also appeared in court Thursday to support Durk as the closely watched trial continued.
