Omi in a Hellcat has been ordered to pay Nike $8 million over trademark infringement.

Judge Victor Marrero in New York granted a default judgment to Nike against Carrasquillo of Reloaded Merch LLC, ordering him to the damages for “promoting, copying, and selling” its copycat Air Jordan 1 and Nike Dunk sneakers.

The lawsuit was filed back in 2022.

Omi was advised to seek new counsel “and that their failure to do so may result in a default judgment against them.”

But he missed the deadline to file an answer to the complaint, and Nike was able to move forward with a default judgment against he and Reloaded Merch LLC.

The popular Youtuber and Instagram influencer was sentenced to 5 years in prison and ordered to forfeit more than $30 million in cash and assets last year. Omi, real name Bill Omar Carrasquillo, 38, was arrested in 2019 and charged in a scheme to sell copyrighted cable TV programs to 800,000 subscribers on illegal firesticks.
