Omarion has opened up about his views on monogamy and the R&B singer has doubled down on his beliefs that men are not meant to be monogamous.
“I would say for me being open is important, and also—you know, the women just truly outnumber the men, you know what I mean?'” he told Sherri Shepherd.
He continued, “I love this conversation because I think when men are open and honest that they don’t wanna have just this one thing for the rest of their life—it gives a woman an opportunity to choose and to further understand a man because I think that women don’t really understand a man.”
Omarion was in a committed relationship with Apryl Jones from 2013 to 2016, the mother of his children, until she left him for his former B2K bandmate, Lil Fizz. In 2023, he was spotted out with actress Nia Long, but Nia denied they were anything more than friends.
“Certain women [do understand], but there’s a larger conversation that has to be had about understanding men and how, you know, we’re meant to spread our seed,” he concluded.
