Olivier Martinez reportedly stormed out of a Los Angeles courtroom on Tuesday, during a heated second day of his domestic violence restraining order hearing involving ex-wife Halle Berry.
The 60-year-old French actor appeared visibly upset as he exited Los Angeles County Superior Court with his attorney, Patrick Baghdaserians, according to Page Six.
Martinez was allegedly overheard using profanity during an animated conversation with his lawyer about testimony. The two headed to a restroom and returned about five minutes later.
Berry, also 60, took the witness stand on Tuesday as the former couple continued their legal dispute over their 13-year-old son, Maceo.
Jon Hay, a staff member at Maceo’s school who previously expressed concerns about the teenager’s behavior, was also expected to testify.
The courtroom was closed during testimony involving their son to protect his privacy.
The proceedings follow Martinez’s accusations that Berry choked Maceo during a September incident while her fiancé, Van Hunt, was present.
Berry has denied the allegations through her attorney, Marina Beck, who described them as “entirely meritless and deliberately misleading.”
Maceo testified for nearly four hours Monday, while Berry’s daughter, Nahla Aubry, 18, is expected to testify later this week. In a previous court declaration, Nahla defended her mother, stating she had “never seen my mom hit, slap, choke, grab, or physically abuse Maceo in any way.”
Martinez is seeking sole custody of Maceo.
