Former football star O.J. Simpson has been diagnosed with prostate cancer and is currently undergoing chemotherapy in Las Vegas.

The athlete, who was famously acquitted in the murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown and a former friend, has been reportedly telling his friends and family that he’s been hearing rumors that he’s in hospice care.

He hopped on social media to shoot down the rumors.

Yesterday, Simpson was in Vegas to support San Francisco 49ers. He then took a moment to “thank everyone who reached out” following his cancer diagnosis.

Simpson was charged with double murder in 1994 and was acquitted in October 1995. He later was found to be liable for the killings in civil court, with a $33.5 million verdict entered against him. He did not spend any time in prison for the killing but h was jailed for armed robbery in Nevada and was freed on parole in 2017. His parole expired in 2021.
