Offset denies talking to the cops after Nicki Minaj’s husband Kenneth Petty was placed on house arrest after threatening the Atlanta rapper on social media.
“Hell naw,” Offset said when asked on The Breakfast Club whether the cops reached out to him. “Police ain’t never calling me. They ain’t go no number for me. Man, please. I would never do no lameass sh-t like that. I’d rather keep in the street than do some sh-t like that. All that sh-t a joke. Grownass man doing sh-t like that. I just laugh at sh-t like that.”
He continued, “I’m just too old to participate in sh-t like tha. I think sometimes n-ggas want you to be tough. But when you crash out they call you stupid.”
Petty was sentenced to three months of house arrest after being found in violation of his three-year probation stemming from his failure to register as a sex offender when he and Minaj moved to Los Angeles in 2019.
