O.J. Simpson is being sued over the deaths of his ex-wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ronald Goldman for nearly $100 million.
According to TMZ, Fred Goldman, who is the dad of Fred is asking a judge to renew his old judgment against Simpson because he allegedly still owes him $96 million.
“In 2015, Fred [Goldman] said with interest, O.J. owed him $57 million,” TMZ writes. “But, in the new docs, Fred now says interest has continued to pile up over the last seven years and has now reached nearly $97 million.”
Ronald and Nicole were murdered at Nicole’s home in Brentwood, California in 1994. O.J. was acquitted of their killings in 1995 but 3 years later, he was found liable for both deaths in a 1997 civil lawsuit and ordered to pay $33,500,000 in damages.
O.J. served time in prison in 2008, he was found guilty of a Las Vegas robbery and was sentenced to 33 years. He was released in 2017 and released from parole early in 2021 due to good behavior.
