Kyle Richards and her estranged husband Mauricio Umansky may have spent a cozy holiday season together, but sources say fans should not read it as a romantic reset.
After the longtime couple was spotted together multiple times between Christmas and New Year’s Eve, an insider told Us Weekly that reconciliation is not in the cards.
“They are not getting back together or rekindling their romance,” the source says, adding that there is still “so much love between them.”
According to the insider, Kyle, 56, and Mauricio, 55, are “in a really good place right now” more than two years after announcing their separation. “Kyle and Mau have done a good job maintaining normalcy in front of the girls, especially during the holiday season,” the source explains, referencing their four daughters.
While their warm dynamic has sparked speculation, the insider says even their children are realistic. “Of cours,e it would be great if they called off their separation, but the family knows it’s most likely not going to happen.”
Instead, Kyle and Mau are focused on preserving their bond as friends. “They are genuinely friends right now and still have so much fun together,” the source says. “They have been loving towards one another but that doesn’t mean they are getting back together.”
