Nina Westbrook Calls Out “Worst in People” After Disturbing Death Wish!

Nina Westbrook is speaking out after receiving a deeply disturbing message tied to her husband’s performance on the court.

On Thursday night, Nina Westbrook shared a screenshot of her Instagram Story showing a hateful email sent by an angry gambler. The message, which included a profanity-filled subject line, attacked her husband, Russell Westbrook, and ended with a graphic death wish directed at both of them.

“The negative effects of sports betting,” Nina wrote alongside the image. “Brings out the worst in ppl smh.”

The message referenced Russell’s stat line from Thursday’s game, when the former MVP struggled during a loss at Golden 1 Center. Now with the Sacramento Kings, Westbrook finished with five points as the Kings fell to the Orlando Magic by a wide margin.

While Russell did not address the incident publicly, Nina’s post quickly drew attention for shedding light on a growing issue around legalized sports gambling. This is not the first time she has spoken about harassment tied to her husband’s career.

Several years ago, Nina revealed she had received similar messages and made it clear she would not stay silent.

“This is bigger than basketball,” she has said in the past, calling for accountability and humanity in sports fandom.
