Nicki Minaj’s husband, Kenneth “Zoo” Petty, shocked the Barbz after he used a homophobic slur while the couple was on livestream together.
Nicki was in a good mood, and offered her fans some cheery advice.
“Don’t you let anybody or anything steal your muthaf-cking joy,” she said.
Her husband then chimed in, “That’s right, especially little f-ggots or f-ck boys.”
The slur is used as a term of abuse and disparagement for a gay person and is not an acceptable term to use in any context.
Fans weighed in.
“it’s giving the popular girl who says she’s for the gays but let her boyfriend say slurs while she laughs,” one fan wrote.
Another fan wrote, “They still ain’t learn that she don’t care about the gays but their money. When’s the last time you heard of her doing a gay pride or gay club pop up etc. She did Ru Paul and they swear she for the gays.”
