Nicki Minaj wants her fans at the polls this November, even as questions linger over whether she is eligible to vote alongside them.
The Queens-raised rapper encouraged young Americans to support Republicans during a conversation with Lara Trump that aired on Fox News last week.
“This is your country, this is your world, and vote red,” Minaj declared.
Two years ago, Minaj revealed she was not an American citizen, despite moving to the United States from Trinidad and Tobago as a child.
Her immigration status resurfaced in January when she proudly displayed a Trump Gold Card.
“Finalizing that citizenship paperwork as we speak as per MY wonderful, gracious, charming President,” she wrote on social media.

Whether she has since obtained citizenship remains publicly unconfirmed.
Her comments also arrive amid a legal dispute over expanded federal citizenship checks.
On Sept. 25, the Supreme Court allowed the Trump administration to resume using its modified SAVE database while litigation continues. Voting rights organizations warn the system could mistakenly flag eligible voters.
Meanwhile, Minaj has continued publicly expressing her admiration for Trump.
When Fox News host Laura Ingraham asked about criticism of her political involvement, she declined to engage with detractors.
“I just love him,” she said. “I’m not going to ever make excuses for that because I don’t know why I should.”
