Nicki Minaj has addressed claims that she hired Megan Thee Stallion’s former best friend, Kelsey Harris, to promote her new LØCI sneaker Collection.
Kelsey posted pictures of her rocking the sneakers in what appeared to be a legit ad campaign.
“The Nicki Minaj x LØCI Collection Has Landed !!” the caption read.
Fans believed Minaj hired Kelsey just to get back at her, but the rapper says Kelsey’s post has nothing to do with her.
“Me, nor my company knew anything about it until she posted it. So she did what many ppl did when they received my sneakers, they posted a photo in them,” Minaj wrote. “Kelsey def went all the way out with this professional looking backdrop tho…but she is in no way professionally connected to my sneaker brand.”
Kelsey posted the photos on her page before eventually deleting.
It looks like Kelsey was just trying to send a message to her former bestie.
