Nicki Minaj Posts Tweet Suggesting Cardi B Is Racist Against Black Women!!

The beef between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B just went from a little smoke to a full FIVE ALARM BLAZE. Yesterday Nicki purportedly posted a video on her IG stories, suggesting that Cardi B was racist towards Black women, Media Take Out has heard.

Cardi and Nicki have had some pretty serious beef in the past. The two ladies feuded over a song, and eventually that feud turned violent. As Media Take Out reported, Cardi confronted Nicki at a fashion week event in 2020 – and Nicki’s friend punched Cardi repeatedly, bruising the Latina rapper’s face.

The beef seemed to quiet down over the past year. But yesterday, Nicki appeared to re-ignite the feud.

In the video, which you can see below, a commentator jokingly referred to Cardi as a “White woman named Cardinal Beatrice The Third.” She claims that Cardi referred to people of color as “roaches.”

Cardi has been accused of calling Black women “roaches” in the past. But Cardi addressed the allegations and while she did admit to calling Black women “roaches,” the Latin artist claims that the comments were not made as a dig with respect to race.

According to Instagram gossip blogs, Nicki posted the above video on her IG story, and quickly deleted it – but not until someone screenshot it.

Now Black Twitter is in an uproar – and people are taking sides. Half seem to be with Nicki, and half with Cardi.

Often cited as the “Queen of Rap” and the “Queen of Hip Hop” by several media outlets, Minaj is also one of the best-selling music artists, with more than 100 million records sold worldwide. The New York Times and other media outlets have described her as one of the most influential rappers of all time, and Billboard ranked her as the top female rapper of the 2010s, and seventh among the top female artists.

Her various accolades include eight American Music Awards, five MTV Video Music Awards, six MTV Europe Music Awards, twelve BET Awards, four Billboard Music Awards, a Brit Award, and three Guinness World Records. In 2016, Time included her on their annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world. Outside of music, her film career has included voice roles in the animated films Ice Age: Continental Drift (2012) and The Angry Birds Movie 2 (2019) as well as supporting roles in the comedy films The Other Woman (2014) and Barbershop: The Next Cut (2016). As of July 2022, Minaj is the most followed rapper on Instagram, with over 194 million followers.
