“Zoey 101” star Alexa Nikolas responded to Dan Schneider’s apology for the way child actors were treated during the production of his shows…and she is not buying his side of the story.

“Watching over the past two nights was very difficult for me. Facing my past behaviors, some of which are embarrassing and that I regret, and I definitely owe some people a pretty strong apology. I could be cocky and definitely overambitious and sometimes just straight up rude and obnoxious and I am so sorry that I ever was. When I watched the show, I could see the hurt in some people’s eyes and it made me feel awful and regretful and sorry,” Schneider said on his Youtube channel.

In the Quiet on Set documentary, some actors talked about being sexually abused and even r-ped by staff.

Some of the content was full of sexual innuendo even though the actors were minors.

“When someone doesn’t personally come to you and apologize, it’s not an apology,” said Alexis. “If you hear about it through other people, it’s not really an apology right? An apology is to the person that you hurt. That’s what an apology is for.”

She added, “I would’ve appreciated if Dan apologized directly to me. He’s a bully, a meanie, and impacted my life, right? … Where’s a phone call of an apology? How come you can do all of this, how can everyone do all of this but not reach out to the person that they hurt?”
