Nick Carter opened up about how members of The Backstreet Boys comforted him following the news of his brother’s death.

“It was very emotional for me, having my guys with me. That night, it was tough to get up on stage,” he told Extra!

“There’s the old saying, ‘The show must go on.’ That’s been with us for years, but that night, I didn’t know what to expect, I didn’t know what was going to come from it, getting on that stage,” he continued. “Getting the reaction from the fans, it was definitely comforting, and it meant a lot to me.”

Aaron and Nick reportedly squashed their beef before his death. Aaron was discovered last month in his bathtub at his California home. Police said they found cans of compressed air and pill bottles in his bathroom.

“[Aaron] was on the path to making amends with so many people in his life, and he had made amends and made peace with Nick,” a rep for Aaron told HollywoodLife. “Aaron was happy about this because he loved his brother,” the rep continued. “He looked up to Nick in so many ways. They were trying to make everything good again.”
