Actress Nia Long and her “spiritual husband” Ime Udoku are trending this morning on social media, after ESPN broke the news that Ime is being suspended from his job as head coach of the Boston Celtics, for allegedly having a tryst with one of his subordinates, Media Take Out has learned.

According to ESPN, Ime is facing disciplinary action expected to include a significant suspension for his role in a consensual, intimate relationship with a woman who is a member of the franchise’s staff.

The report did not name the alleged side chick, but Twitter has been doing some sleuthing – and have been spreading rumors on whom they think the woman could be.

While the Boston Celtics did not name the side piece, Media Take Out has learned that the woman is NOT Vice-President of Player Development and Organizational Growth Allison Feaster. She is not involved in the matter whatsoever.

Nia first met Ime, who is a former professional basketball player, in Boston back in 2010 – after work brought them both there by chance. They were introduced by a mutual friend, and from that point on, the couple was inseparable – at least spiritually.

But because of the couple’s busy schedules, the two rarely lived in the same city at the same time. Ime’s NBA coaching jobs would take him to cities like San Antonio, Philadelphia and Brooklyn, and Nia’s acting career had her filming all over the country, the two were not often together. The actress also lives in Los Angeles.

But after welcoming a son together in November 2011, Nia and Ime became engaged in June 2015. The pair finally got married – albeit not legally – in June 2021. Afterwards, Ime became the head coach of the Boston Celtics and lived full time in Boston. Nia remained living in Los Angeles.
