NFL Star Zion Williamson Responds to R*pe Lawsuit

Zion Williamson’s legal team has responded to a r*pe lawsuit filed against the athlete by a former girlfriend.

“We take these allegations with the utmost seriousness, and we unequivocally deny them,” Williamson’s attorney told TMZ.

“The allegations contained in the complaint are categorically false and reckless. This appears to be an attempt to exploit a professional athlete driven by a financial motive rather than any legitimate grievance.”

Williamson is facing serious legal heat after a woman, identified only as Jane Doe, filed a civil lawsuit in L.A. County accusing the NBA star of r*pe, physical assault, and years of manipulation.

According to court docs obtained by Media Take Out, the alleged abuse dates back to Zion’s days at Duke and continued well into his NBA career with the New Orleans Pelicans, lasting up until mid-2023. The suit details two alleged incidents of r*pe and claims their relationship was both emotionally and financially abusive.

Doe’s lawyer, Sam Taylor of the Lanier Law Firm, says: “We and our client do not want to litigate this case in the press,” he said. “But this is a very serious case.”

Doe says she met Williamson in 2018 while he was still a college hoops sensation at Duke. The relationship reportedly carried on for nearly five years—long after he entered the league and signed major endorsement deals.
