NFL Star Terrion Arnold Cut After Judge Sets $1 Million Bail!

Tiffany Brockworth |

The Detroit Lions have released Terrion Arnold days after the cornerback was arrested in connection with a February robbery and kidnapping case in Florida.

The team announced on Monday that it had parted ways with Arnold, 23. The decision came after the Tampa Police Department confirmed that Arnold turned himself in Wednesday and was taken into custody.

He faces four counts of kidnapping and four counts of armed robbery.

Earlier Monday, a judge set Arnold’s bail at $1 million and ordered him to remain at home except for work and court appearances.

Arnold’s attorney, R. Timothy Jansen, denied that the former first-round pick had any role in the alleged crimes.

“Mr. Arnold had no involvement whatsoever in the activities that led to those arrests,” Jansen said in a statement to the Detroit Free Press. “He did not participate in, nor was he present for, any conduct related to the alleged offenses. There is no evidence in police reports, text messages, or witness statements that implicates Mr. Arnold in any way.”

Jansen added, “In fact, after direct communication with the lead prosecutor, it has been confirmed that no charges have been filed against Mr. Arnold in connection with this matter.”

Arnold starred at Alabama before Detroit selected him No. 24 overall in the 2024 NFL Draft.
