A source close to Next Gen NYC star Gia Giudice is setting the record straight after rumors linked her to Ariana Biermann’s recent split from boyfriend Hudson McLeroy.
Speculation began when a blind item on October 14 suggested a “reality offspring” couple broke up over cheating involving one of her friends. A Bravo Facebook group later added, “Ariana and Hudson just broke up and he’s been involved with Gia, from Next Gen NYC.”
Now, an insider close to Gia is shutting it down.
“This is absolute BS,” the source told Radar. “Gia had nothing to do with the breakup of Ariana and her boyfriend.” The insider added that Gia has been happily dating longtime boyfriend Christian Carmichael, who has appeared on the Bravo show.
“Any insinuations to the contrary are disgusting and completely false,” the source said. “Gia is a loyal friend and person and never someone who would interfere with another relationship. The accusation is simply ludicrous and categorically false.”
Ariana, 23, announced her split from Hudson, also 23, on Instagram.
“Hudson and I have decided to go our separate ways,” she wrote. “While these things are never easy, we both know it’s what’s best for us right now. Sometimes life takes you in different directions, and that’s okay.”
Hudson shared his own message, writing, “I still and always will love Ariana. She’s been there for me at times when I couldn’t be there for myself. I still have a lot of things I need to heal from and deal with on my own to become the person I truly want to be.”
