Last month, Good Morning America announced that co-host TJ Holmes was under investigation after his affair with his married GMA co-host Amy Robach. TJ Holmes hired a TOP lawyer this week, and leaked details of an alleged lawsuit against ABC News.
Now ABC News is fighting back. Media Take Out learned that yesterday, another one of TJ’s workplace affairs has been exposed. According to a new report another ABC News employee has come forward to explain how she and TJ had an office romance – the fourth alleged affair by TJ with one of his co-workers.
But this alleged side chick is different. First off, she’s Black – a rarity for TJ, who seems to prefer non-Black women. And second, the report suggests that she feels “victimized” after their encounters.
According to the new Daily Mail report, T.J. Holmes engaged in an affair with young script coordinator 13 years his junior. The woman, who was just 24 years old at the time, allegedly reached out to him as a hopeful “mentee” but ended up feeling “used” after the relationship turned intimate.
According to a “source” who spoke with the Daily Mail and had all the tea, Jasmin Pettaway met TJ in 2015, five years into his marriage to wife, Marilee Fiebig.
The source claimed, ‘[TJ] was a predator who took full advantage of his position, and he was reckless.”
The two started off having a mentor-mentee relationship, and then TJ – who was an on-air host with ABC – convinced Jasmin to take things to the next level.
The friend explained, “I don’t know how long that had been going on before it got s**ual, but I do know the first time was in his office, and he was about to go on air in a couple of hours.”
She continued, “They had sex and I know she was confused afterwards as to what it meant. That kind of ‘Did that just really happen?’ feeling. I mean that’s pretty risky behavior on his part.”
After a brief fling, TJ then tossed Jasmine away – like most married men do their side pieces – and she was left confused and feeling “exploited.”
The friend told Daily Mail, “Jasmin was a beautiful girl and he had it all on his terms. He was interested and then he wasn’t.”
“This was a young woman, starting out in a difficult industry, looking for role models and mentors and she got T.J.,” the friend added.
