Bravo just released a new clip from an old season of Real Housewives of Potomac, and it showed Karen’s edges … and someone better send out an A.P.B., cause Media Take Out can confirm, her edges are missing.
In the clip, Karen is hanging out on a boat, and the wing is whipping through her weave, to reveal the bald scalp where her edges used to reside.

Karen is, of course, extremely sensitive about her dramatic hair loss. She’s posted a series of videos over the years, where she pretends that her hair is healthy.
In the below video,Karen attempts to “prove” to fans that she has strong and healthy hair. Unfortunately for Karen, it’s pretty obvious that he’s wearing a wig:
Karen is 59 years old, and so we shouldn’t be surprised by her hair loss. A variety of conditions can cause permanent or temporary hair loss, including hormonal changes due to pregnancy, childbirth, menopause and thyroid problems. Medical conditions include alopecia areata (al-o-PEE-she-uh ar-e-A-tuh), which is immune system related and causes patchy hair loss, scalp infections such as ringworm, and a hair-pulling disorder called trichotillomania (trik-o-til-o-MAY-nee-uh).
Typically in older women, hair loss is brought on by hormone changes, associated with menopause.
