NeNe Leakes has broken her silence after news of her return to Bravo circulated online.
The former The Real Housewives of Atlanta standout confirmed she will appear on The Real Housewives: Ultimate Road Trip, a special series celebrating 20 years of the Real Housewives franchise.
The show will bring together fan favorites from across cities and eras for a journey through some of the most meaningful locations in Housewives history, including a stop in Atlanta, where Leakes is expected to appear.
NeNe shared her excitement in a video posted to Instagram, calling the moment emotional and surreal. “This has been a really long journey,” she said. “I’m happy, overjoyed to say that I will be returning to Bravo. I almost can’t believe the words that are coming out of my mouth.”
The appearance marks NeNe’s first return to the network since exiting RHOA in 2020 following a contract dispute. She later filed a lawsuit against Bravo alleging a toxic work environment, which she ultimately dropped. In recent years, she expressed that she wanted move forward, saying she harbored no hard feelings toward executive producer Andy Cohen.
Cohen responded warmly to NeNe’s announcement, writing, “Couldn’t celebrate 20 years without you.”
