On her new podcast, NeNe Leakes says she’s considering having an open marriage in the future.
“Maybe I should marry just so that I have a partner for life … who will help you when you’re sick and take care of you,” she said during an episode of her Pillow Talk with Nene YouTube series.
NeNe’s husband sadly passed away from colon cancer two years ago.
“I was filling out the information, and they asked for my emergency contact, and I got really emotional,” she said. “It came over me out of nowhere because I was literally looking at the paper like, ‘Who is it that I would want somebody to call in case something happens.'”
The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star added, “Maybe I should just marry whether I’m 100% happy with the person or not. Maybe I should marry just so that I have a partner — a partner for life.”
“Maybe we will have an agreement that this person would be there for me and I would be there for them [during] hard times or medical times. He will see whoever he wants to see. I will see whoever I want to see.”
