NeNe Leakes’ Eldest Son Bryson Booked Into Georgia Jail Again

Bryson Bryant has returned to jail less than three months after an arrest connected to probation and child support allegations.

The 36-year-old son of Real Housewives of Atlanta alum NeNe Leakes was booked into Georgia’s Gwinnett County Jail on July 24 for contempt of court, according to records obtained by TMZ.

Details about what led up to the latest charge have not been publicly disclosed.

His latest booking follows a May 1 arrest for allegedly failing to pay child support, violating probation and failing to appear in court. Bryson later posted a bond reportedly totaling approximately $27,000. His probation originated with a 2023 police encounter. Authorities alleged that Bryson was found with fentanyl and gave officers Brentt Leakes’ name instead of his own.

The possession charge was ultimately dropped as part of a plea deal. Bryson was sentenced to 12 months of probation for providing false information to police.

He was also ordered to perform 40 hours of community service, participate in random drug testing, complete a substance abuse evaluation, and pay a $500 fine.

NeNe addressed her son’s struggles in 2023, saying, “He needs rehabilitation.”

“For people who have had children or family members that have been on drugs, they know that they have to be ready,” she said, explaining that she could not force Bryson to make changes before he chose them for himself.
