NeNe Leakes let her fans know that he eldest son, Brentt, is not gay after rumors swirled from one of his TikTok videos.
“Brentt is not gay. Not to my knowledge,” she said on The Breakfast Club.
“He called me up and was like, ‘Mom, everybody is asking if I’m gay because I did this TikTok thing. And I said, ‘It’s OK if you are gay. It’s fine with me.’ And he was like, ‘OK, Mom, I’m not gay,'” she explained.
NeNe said she’d be supportive if he did come out to her.
“I don’t need to ask him, ‘Are you gay?’ What I like to say to people is … ‘Whatever makes you happy.’ If my son today says he’s gay, I’m 100 percent OK with it.”
Over the weekend, Brentt posted a video of himself trying to throw a ball of paper into a trash can.
“If I miss, I’m gay,” he captioned the video. He did miss and fans assumed he had intentionally outed himself.
