Ne-Yo Claims Brands Pulled Back Over His Polyamorous Relationship

Ne-Yo says his polyamorous relationship has cost him several bags since going public.

During a recent appearance on the Sorry We’re Cyrus podcast with Tish Cyrus and Brandi Cyrus, the Grammy-winning singer opened up about the public reaction to his relationship with multiple women and claimed some professional deals have fallen through because of it.

“The world is mad at the fact that I’m in a polyamorous relationship. There are people upset,” NE-YO, 46, said.

“There’s deals that I missed out on because they’re like, ‘We don’t know if we can get behind the whole polyamorous [thing],’ ” he continued.

The “So Sick” singer says that now his personal life has overshadowed other aspects of his character and career.

“It’s almost like you can be a great person. You can show respect and appreciation [for your fans and colleagues], but the second you do something that they don’t agree with, canceled,” he said. “And that just doesn’t make any sense to me.”

Ne-Yo also shared that he currently lives with his three partners, Arielle Hill, Cristina and Moneii, along with their children.

“We are a family. We love each other, and it’s a beautiful thing,” he said.

The singer explained that he decided to approach relationships differently following his divorce from his ex-wife, Crystal Renay, saying that honesty became his top priority moving forward.
