NBA YoungBoy To Plead Guilty In Federal Case

Lyndon Abioye |

NBA YoungBoy is reportedly expected to enter a guilty plea and have his federal weapons case transferred from Baton Rouge to Utah after his attorney, Drew Findling, filed the paperwork.

The rapper is charged with a count of possession of firearms by a convicted felon stemming from a 2020 music video shoot in Baton Rouge.

YoungBoy had a 9 mm handgun as well as a .45-caliber Glock in his possession at the time of his arrest. His felony possession of an unregistered firearm was dismissed in March.

The rapper is also fighting other charges.

In May, YoungBoy was hit with three new charges related to a large-scale prescription fraud operation.

The rapper was charged with 63 counts including possession of a dangerous weapon by a restricted person and for a pattern of unlawful activity.

Both of the above charges are Class 2 felony charges. Other charges include procuring or attempting to procure drug/prescription, identity fraud, forgery, and possession of other controlled substances. In the new charges filed on April 26, 2024 from Weber County authorities, Gaulden faces another possession of a firearm by a restricted person felony charge and two counts of fraudulently obtaining a prescription.
