Two of the NBA’s richest and most decorated players are married … both to White women, Media Take Out has learned.
On Saturday, Trae Young and Shelby Miller were married.
The two-time NBA All-Star met Miller at the University of Oklahoma, and they began dating in 2017.
Trae and Shelby have son Tydus Reign together, he was born in June 2022. Young and Miller frequently share Instagram photos of him, as well as photos of the whole family at home or on vacation.
Shelby, a former cheerleader is very active on Instagram, where she has over 40,000 followers. In her bio, she describes herself as a mother, a fiancée and a Scorpio. She often posts selfies as well as photos with Young, her family and her friends.

Nearly three months after being named the 2022–23 NBA MVP, Joel Embiid reached married longtime girlfriend Anne de Paula.
Embiid, 29, and de Paula, 28, tied the knot in Southampton, New York following a church ceremony on Saturday afternoon. The power couple have been together since 2018, and share a son, two-year-old Arthur Elijah.
Video of the newlyweds greeting guests on their walk down the aisle made the rounds online as celebs and fans alike congratulated the six-time NBA All-Star and model on their nuptials.
The Philadelphia 76ers star met the model through a mutual friend at a dinner in New York City in 2018. They started off as friends, FaceTiming daily for a while before pursuing a romantic relationship.
In September 2020, the couple welcomed their first child together, son Arthur Elijah.
