Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler and singer Shakira are dating, Media Take Out is hearing – but the couple are still taking things slow, according to a Friday report from US Weekly.
The report says that Jimmy “makes her laugh” and she doesn’t mind the age gap.
Shakira, 46, is 13 years older than Butler and the two have been linked for several months now, especially since she was spotted at Heat games during the 2023 NBA Playoffs.
“They have been out a few times, but things are very new and it’s too early to tell if there’s long-term potential there,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly. “Jimmy makes Shakira smile, and she feels happy spending time with him.”
The source added that Shakira, who has been linked romantically to several stars since her recent divorce, “doesn’t mind” the 13-year age gap “whatsoever.”
Butler, 33, was recently spotted at Wimbledon sitting a few rows away from Shakira and they continued the party elsewhere.
They went to dinner together despite arriving to the restaurant minutes apart from each other.
“The pair were spotted looking cozy inside the restaurant as they ordered at one of London’s most popular celebrity restaurants,” E! News reported
