Last week, Tucker Carlson, Fox News controversial talk show host launched what many are calling one of the most racially charged attacks on another host in history. Tucker launched an entire segment, accusing that MSNBC anchor Tiffany Cross of turning America into “Rwanda,” an African country.
And Tucker told his audience that Tiffany, who routinely called out racism and White supremacy on her show, was a “Black racist.”
Now, just days after Tucker’s outrageous accusations, Tiffany has been fired from MSNBC. Here’s a sample of the vile rhetoric that Tucker spewed on Fox News.
Tiffany Cross, the MSNBC weekend host who was known for running the freewheeling Saturday commentary program “Cross Connection,” was abruptly fired by MSNBC yesterday.
Media Take Out confirmed that Tiffany’s production staff was informed of the decision Friday morning. MSNBC declined to make executives available for comment, and Tiffany could not be reached for immediate comment.
According to MSNBC, Tiffany was not “fired” but rather the network decided not to renew Cross’ contract after two years, and severed ties with her immediately.
A rotating group of anchors will lead her weekend hours until a replacement is found, and the production staff assigned to her show are believed to be likely to stay in place.
Media Take Out spoke with a person close to Tiffany who claims that she is considering legal options, including bringing a MAJOR lawsuit against Tucker Carlson and Fox News.
