Milania Giudice is taking anger management classes while facing a simple assault charge tied to a domestic dispute at her mother Teresa Giudice’s New Jersey home.
The 20-year-old University of Tampa student appeared by video in Montville Township Municipal Court on Tuesday. Her attorney, Alan Kraminsky, told the judge that prosecutors wanted the hearing delayed while Milania completes the course.
Her next court date is now set for September 29.
Milania was arrested May 14 after police were called to the home Teresa shares with her husband, Luis “Louie” Ruelas. According to police, Milania’s sister Gabriella Giudice called 911 and reported that her “sister [was] acting erratically.”
Authorities alleged Milania struck another person in the forehead with her fist. A police report also said she was “throwing food [and] candles” during the dispute.
Milania has pleaded not guilty.
She later spoke about the arrest in a June TikTok, telling followers she was “not in a good area in [her] life” when the incident happened.
“That happens. I’ve been through a lot in life, and some other stuff happened to me,” she said.
Milania also said she wants to move forward from the situation.
“You gotta learn from it and just become a better person and talk about it,” she said.
If found guilty, she could face jail time, probation and fines.
