Newly released police footage shows Milania Giudice laughing in handcuffs moments after her May 14 arrest on a domestic violence charge.
The 20-year-old daughter of Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice was placed in the back of a patrol car outside Teresa and Luis “Louie” Ruelas’ home in Montville Township, N.J. As an officer secured her seatbelt, Milania looked toward the open door, laughed and then faced forward with a smile.
In the video obtained by Page Six, she appeared calm and quiet during the drive to police headquarters, where she was charged with simple assault and released pending a court appearance. She has pleaded not guilty.
According to a police report, Milania was allegedly “throwing food [and] candles” during a dispute inside the family home. Her older sister Gabriella Giudice called 911 shortly before 6:15 p.m. and reported that her “sister [was] acting erratically.”
During an arraignment, the judge said Milania was accused of punching a person identified as LR in the forehead, causing redness.
Her next court hearing is scheduled for August. If convicted, she could face up to six months in jail, probation, and fines of up to $500
